Embroidery threads are generally made from Rayon, polyester, cotton, or silk, although most commercial embroiderers use either Rayon or polyester.  While there are some clear advantages and disadvantages to each material, the differences have diminished over time as material and thread production technology has improved.  Check back in a few days for a chart explaining the differences.

SIIS, embroiderer for world’s largest licensing show

June 2nd, 2010

Say it in Stitches has been selected by the 2010 Licensing International Expo (LIE) to provide decorated apparel for show staff and embroidery and screen printing for official giveaway items. The show is June 8-10, 2010 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Say it in Stitches digitized and embroidered two versions of the Licensing International Expo logo on shirts for more than 100 staff. In addition, hundreds of giveaway tote bags at the show will feature the Licensing International Expo’s 30th Anniversary logo, screen printed by Say it in Stitches’ strategic partner, To a Tee (a member of the ChariTEES! Group). Both companies’ logos also appear on the bags.

At the expo, samples of Say it in Stitches’ custom embroidery will also be on display in the Fashion Avenue Café, a showcase of mannequins highlighting apparel and more from exhibitors.
